Tiana Shiver, M.D.
Internal Medicine - Endocrinology

Board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, Dr. Shiver received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. In addition to her internship and residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y., she also completed a fellowship in clinical endocrinology at the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive & Kidney Disease at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.

In practice for 20 years, Dr. Shiver treats patients 18 years and older, and speaks fluent Spanish. In addition to metabolic and digestive disorders, she also treats menopause, pituitary diseases, pituitary cancer and thyroid disease, and administers hormone replacement therapy. She enjoys reading, cooking, playing piano and spending focused time with her 10-year-old son. Dr. Shiver has twice received the Patients’ Choice Award from Vitals, and was noted as one of the “Best Doctors in America” by Texas Monthly magazine in 2008 and 2009.
